Dear Silicom Ventures members and friends,

Welcome to our November 2004 eNewsletter. The last six months have been incredibly active at Silicom Ventures. Along with our members and VC partners, we have invested in six companies, for a total of over $22M. We see this as a good omen for the coming months and years.

Best regards,

Gadi Behar
Founder & Managing Director

Change of Presentation Pace

In response to recommendations from some of our members we will be testing a new presentation format in the upcoming meetings. Instead of having presentations by two companies, each for 20 minutes plus ten minutes of Q&A, we will have six companies give a 5-8 minute pitch, followed by a brief Q&A, for a total of ten minutes each. Hopefully this showcase style will give us a chance to examine more companies without sacrificing too much of the detailed information. In the same vein, we will have two speakers deliver keynote speeches, each of them speaking for a shorter time. Please let us know how you like the new format, as always we appreciate your feedback.

Silicom Goes Global

In addition to the regular events, we are planning a few special forums for next year. Specifically, we are planning to have international showcases presenting high-tech companies from different countries, focusing on one country at a time. Currently under consideration are showcases for Israeli, Dutch and Canadian companies. A Spanish showcase is also in the works. Stay tuned...
