Ram Shriram was vice president of business development at Amazon.com. Prior to Amazon.com, Shriram was CEO of Junglee Corp., a company that Amazon acquired in 1998. Before joining Junglee, Shriram was an early member of the Netscape Communications executive team. Shriram oversaw the OEM and website sales functions at Netscape, and helped generate more than $100 million in revenue from Netscape's high-traffic website alone. Shriram also serves on the board of Google, Plaxo, Yodlee.com and Elance.com, and is a leading angel investor in Silicon Valley. More about Mr. Shriram

Speaker: Jeff Ullman, Professor of Engineering , Stanford University

Jeff Ullman is the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Engineering
(Emeritus) in the Department of Computer Science at Stanford and CEO of Gradiance Corp.
He received the B.S. degree from Columbia University in 1963 and the PhD from Princeton in 1966. Prior to his appointment at Stanford in 1979, he was a member of the technical staff of Bell Laboratories from 1966-1969, and on the faculty of Princeton University between 1969 and 1979.
