Zvi Eintracht is an innovator who built several ground breaking technology companies over the years. With ScanVec he developed the revolutionary raster-to-vector technology and an all-in-one, device independent graphics design and production platform that catapulted ScanVec to dominating the signage making industry for the past 20 years. With Real Time Image he introduced high-quality on-demand wavelet based image-streaming, and brought remote medical image review to the healthcare world, and remote collaboration in print design and production to the advertising world and the pre-press & print-production business. After considerable success over the years – including taking ScanVec public on Nasdaq in 1995, selling Real Time Image print business to Kodak in 2003, and the healthcare business to IDX (GE Medical Systems) in 2005, Zvi – who specializes in signal processing and holds Masters degree in electrical engineering - shifted his research efforts to quantitative finance.
Onshore Capital, a market-neutral hedge fund that Zvi created in 2012 aims to protect against market calamity by shorting the market for a full hedge at all times, and yet also deliver high returns by uncovering and exploiting short-term pricing inefficiencies of individual equities. In 2013 Onshore Capital achieved return of 24% net after fees, placing its performance at #4 globally among market-neutral hedge funds for the year according to the Barclay Hedge funds database.
