Keynote Speaker: Richard M. Levy, Ph.D., Chairman and CEO, Varian Medical Systems, Inc.
Mr. Levy heads Varian Medical Systems, a $1 billion company providing high energy radiation machines and associated hardware and software for treating cancer, and x-ray tubes. Mr. Levy joined Varian in 1968 as a regional sales manager and was selected to head the company’s medical activities in 1986. He was appointed a senior vice president of the corporation in 1989, and during the 1989-1992 period oversaw several other business areas, including Semiconductor Equipment and Vacuum Products. Mr. Levy holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a doctorate in nuclear chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley.

Keynote Speaker: Nir Zuk, Chief Security Technologist, Juniper Networks

Nir Zuk is responsible for the technology in Juniper's security products. Zuk has joined Juniper through the $4B acquisition of NetScreen Technologies where he was Chief Technology Officer. Zuk came to NetScreen through the acquisition of OneSecure, the inventor of Intrusion Prevention, where he was co-founder and CTO. Prior to OneSecure, Zuk was Principal Engineer at Check Point Software Technologies. Throughout his career, Zuk has invented numerous network security technologies that today can be found in most network security products. These include the flow-based stateful-inspection firewall, high-availability for firewalls and stateful-signatures for intrusion detection and prevention
