DATE :  Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012   ABSTRACT :
Ten years ago EFI faced a near-death experience. With the company’s only product about to become obsolete as partners began providing free alternatives, EFI had to change, and fast. Today EFI is projected to see its tenth consecutive quarter of double-digit year-over-year growth and is the fastest growing company in its industry. EFI CEO Guy Gecht will share from his own experiences what worked, what didn’t work, and the lessons he and his team learned as they led this mature company in a mature industry back to high growth.

Before joining EFI, Guy was Director of Engineering at Interro Systems and held software management positions at ASP and Apple Israel. Between 1985 to 1990, he served as an officer in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), managing an engineering development team and later, was an Acting Manager of one of the IDF's high-tech divisions.
