Pat Calhoun
SVP/GM Network Security, McAfee

Pat Calhoun is responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction for McAfee’s Network Security business, which includes Network IPS & NAC, Enterprise Firewall, Web Protection, Email, DLP and Identity Management, and Services Gateway products. Calhoun was most recently at Cisco where he led the Secure Network Services business unit, and was responsible for the strategic direction and market success across a broad portfolio of products. Also while at Cisco, he served as CTO for Wireless Networking and Access Network & Services. Prior to Cisco, Pat held various CTO and senior engineering roles at US Robotics, Sun Microsystems, and Airespace, Inc. where he was a co-founder before an acquisition by Cisco. Calhoun studied Computer Science at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Keith Tresh
State Information Security Officer, CA Technology Agency, Office of Information Security

Keith Tresh is the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of California, and the Director of the Office of Information Security (OIS) at the California Technology Agency. As the director of OIS, Keith oversees California's statewide information security program to protect state assets and systems against intrusion. Prior to the OIS, Keith served in the California National Guard (CNG) for over 31 years, including a combat tour in Iraq. Among his assignments at the CNG, he was CIO and director of information management from 2006 to 2011. Keith began working fulltime for the CNG shortly after being commissioned in 1990 as the assistant force integration readiness officer in the Training and Operations Directorate.

Hadi Nahari
Chief Security Architect, NVIDIA

Hadi Nahari is a software security professional with over 19 years of experience in software development, including work in design and architecture, verification, proof-of-concept, and implementation of secure systems. He has worked on large scale, high-end enterprise solutions, as well as resource-constrained embedded systems, with primary focus on security, cryptography, complex systems design, and vulnerability assessment & threat analysis. Hadi is a frequent speaker in U.S. and international security, mobile, and payment events and has led and contributed to various security projects for Netscape Communications, Sun Microsystems, United States Government, Motorola, MontaVista, eBay, PayPal, and NVIDIA among others. Author of the book: “Web Commerce Security: Design & Development.”

Nir Zuk
Founder & CTO, Palo Alto Networks

Nir Zuk is the Founder and CTO of Palo Alto Networks. Prior to co-founding Palo Alto Networks, Nir was CTO at NetScreen Technologies, which was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004. Prior to NetScreen, Nir was co-founder and CTO at OneSecure, a pioneer in intrusion prevention and detection appliances. Nir was also a principal engineer at Check Point Software Technologies and was one of the developers of stateful inspection technology.

Bill Burns Sr.
Manager Information Security, Netflix

Bill is currently the Manager of Information Security and a Security Architect for Netflix Inc., where he oversees compliance and security operations for Netflix's global entertainment service. He established Netflix's information security program including Security Incident Response, a combined SOX/PCI controls framework, cryptographic key management, and is currently implementing trusted infrastructure in the public Cloud. He has 18 years of industry experience in information security architecture and IT operations, specializing in cryptography and networking. He has a CISSP certification, is a member of the RSA Security Conference Program Committee and CISO Executive Forum, and has advised several security startups. He is a graduate of Michigan Technological University, with Electrical Engineering and Business degrees.

Elon Ginzburg
SVP, Group Information Security Officer & Wholesale Banking, Wells Fargo

Elon Ginzburg is responsible for managing information security across the Wholesale division of Wells Fargo, which offers businesses a large selection of products and services including: treasury management, insurance, asset management, investment banking, and others. Elon has over 15 years of diverse financial services experience, bridging the gap between technology and business, thru management of complex and technology heavy projects and areas. Prior to Wells Fargo, Elon worked with and for: Barclays Global Investors, Barclays Capital, and Investor Bank and Trust, and others. Elon has a B.Sc in Industrial engineering and management from the Technion (Israel’s institute of Technology), and years of service in the Israeli Defense Forces.

Steve Hunt
CTO, Neohapsis Labs

Steve is currently Chief Technology Officer at Neohapsis, a global-security strategy and governance advisory firm. Prior to that, he ran security and risk management think tanks at Giga Information Group and Forrester Research from 1998 to 2005. A recognized expert on security trends, Steve has advised some of the world’s largest organizations, including the United Nations, US Department of Transportation, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Exxon Mobil, Microsoft and IBM.

Tim Mather
Advisory Director, KPMG

Tim Mather is an Advisory Director at KPMG focusing on information protection, and specifically on cloud computing security. Before KPMG, he was Chief Security Strategist for RSA, The Security Division of EMC, responsible for keeping ahead of security industry trends, technology, and threats. Prior to that, he was Vice-President of Technology Strategy in Symantec’s Office of the Chief Technology Officer. after seven years as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He is also co-author of the book Cloud Security and Privacy: An Enterprise Perspective on Risks and Compliance.

Jacques Benkoski, Ph.D.
Venture Partner, USVP

Jacques joined USVP in 2005 and focuses on fostering USVP position as an active investor in the Israeli market. He is working with several USVP companies such as BPT, Factery, HelloFax, Kilopass, Mobbles, Qnovo, Trusteer, and Zerto. Previously, he has advised several portfolio companies including ClearShape (Cadence), Dune Networks (Broadcom), LightSpeed, and Yoomba, and served as executive chairman of Certess (Springsoft) and Synfora (Synopsys). Before joining USVP, Jacques was President and CEO of Monterey Design Systems from 1999 until its acquisition by Synopsys (SNPS) in 2004.

Dr. Israel Niv
President & CEO, DCG Systems

Dr. Niv has been a founder and CEO of several start-up companies, including a company he helped take public. He has sold and successfully integrated two companies to large semiconductor equipment companies; he also acquired and integrated three small companies into his operations. Among other leadership positions, Dr. Niv served as a VP at Applied Materials, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business development of the Process Diagnostics and Control (PDC) Business group. He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Ben-Gurion University.

Spencer Greene
Senior VP Product Management and Marketing, Endance

Spencer joined Endace in October 2011 from Juniper Networks to head up Product Management and Marketing. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the computer networking industry and is widely regarded as both an expert in his field and a visionary. Spencer was originally the founder of Layer 5 networks which was sold to Juniper Networks in 1999. Between 1999 and 2011 he held a range of senior posts within Juniper including VP Product Management, VP Corporate Development and VP Junos OOPS. He is widely quoted in the industry, has a significant number of technology patents to his name, and is based in Silicon Valley, California.

Howard Hartenbaum

Howard joined August Capital in 2008 after serving as a General Partner at Draper Richards LP where he was the founding investor in Skype and a former member of the board of directors where his achievement resulted in his joining the Forbes Midas List of top venture capitalists. He is a graduate of M.I.T. Current Investments: Livemocha, Pixazza and Swoopo. Previous investments: Skype (acquired by eBay), Photobucket (acquired by Fox Interactive Media), Bebo (acquired by AOL) and Netkraft (acquired by Adea Solutions)

Ron Hadar
President & COO, Tigo Energy

Ron Hadar is President and COO of Tigo Energy. Before that, Ron was a VP and GM at MKS Instruments, where he lead the Control and Information Technology product group (CIT) which combined six multinational MKS acquisitions. He led the integration and turnaround which resulted in successful and profitable business units. Prior to MKS, Ron was co-founder and CEO of Tenta Technology, a US-based company that developed control system solutions for semiconductor capital equipment and which was acquired by MKS in 2002. Prior to Tenta Technology, Ron worked at Applied Materials in a variety of system engineering and operational management roles.

Joseph Bach

Joseph Bach is a partner at Nixon Peabody LLP's Silicon Valley office. He has over a decade of legal experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patent prosecution and litigation. Joseph has developed methodologies for, and counsels clients on, efficiently building and managing effective patent portfolios. Joseph has handled and managed cases in a broad range of technologies and has litigation experience before the International Trade Commission and federal courts. Joseph was formerly Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Applied Materials, where he was responsible for all aspects of the Company's IP internationally. He hold a law degree from the Duke University School of Law and a B.S. Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech.

Gregory O'Hara

Mr. O’Hara joined Nixon Peabody in November 2008 from Thelen LLP, where he was managing partner of Thelen’s Silicon Valley office. He is a partner in the firm’s energy and environmental practice. Mr. O’Hara focuses his practice on cleantech startups, project development, corporate counseling and finance, and permitting. He has extensive transactional and energy regulatory experience. Mr. O’Hara also represents companies in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing markets in complex litigation and disputes. Mr. O’Hara has both a litigation and transactional component to his practice. He also has represented numerous high technology companies and venture-backed businesses. Mr. O’Hara graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University.

Gregory Schopf

Gregory E. Schopf is a partner in Nixon Peabody LLP’s Business Litigation and Insurance Industry Practice Groups. He works with matters involving theft of trade secrets, breach of contract, certain bankruptcy issues, fraud and other tortious conduct.
